The Clinton City Parade was Saturday, July 18th after a week full of events. We only had to walk a block from our house to watch the parade. The little neighbor boy, Jackson (aka - our new adopted addition to the household!) wanted us to sit by him. He is a sweet little guy that is the same age as Cayden. The two play so cute together and it is great that Cayden has a friend to play with. I hope they can grow to be good friends as they get older.
We took the kids over to the carnival in the afternoon and then watched the fireworks later that night, but forgot the camera.
Cayden, Kylee and Jackson dancing to the music that the DJ was playing. I do not know what the name of the song was, but it was basically patterned after the hockey pockey.

I think the first half of the parade was made up of all the small cities fire departments in the area. There was ALOT of fire trucks and ambulances and it was VERY loud. Grandma, Cayden and Jackson thought it was too loud because they were all covering their ears. LOL.

There was a guy walking in the parade with his dog. Jackson, not being the least bit shy, went up to the guy and asked him if he could pet the dog. We were completely shocked when Cayden went and petted the dog too. There may be hope for the kid yet to overcome his fear of dogs.

Funny story about the water bottle that Kylee is holding. One of the cars driving in the parade was throwing them out at the audience. Kylee and Jackson did not get one as it drove by and decided they should have one so they both ran up to the car and asked for one. My little girl has definately overcome her shyness.

This was one of the last floats in the parade. I thought it was pretty cool.

And last, but definatley not least is little Emma taking a relaxing siesta in the stroller.
